Alessandro adds a niche expertise in machine learning models using multiple modalities, such as vision, language and proprioceptive information. With his capability, we’re continually exploring how Alana can develop more intuitive responses. Alessandro was one of the main developers of the Alana entry in the Alexa Prize Challenge 2018. He’s also a PhD student at Edinburgh Centre for Robotics.
